A 1/8-inch by 3-inch reinforced skin closure strip — the smallest reinforced variant, combining minimal-profile width with embedded filament strength for fine cuts under tension.
McKesson skin closure strips provide a faster, less invasive alternative to sutures for shallow cuts. The reinforced 1/8" × 3" (3 mm × 76 mm) variant adds embedded filaments for extra strength when wounds are under skin tension.

Clean and dry the skin around the wound. Gently approximate the wound edges. Apply strips perpendicular to the wound, working from center outward, leaving small gaps for drainage. Avoid stretching the strips during application. Strips typically remain in place 7–14 days; let them detach naturally or trim if needed.
Not appropriate for deep, gaping, dirty, infected, or facial wounds requiring physician assessment. If a wound is gaping, bleeding heavily, or infected, seek medical care.
Keep dry for the first 24–48 hours. After that, brief water exposure is typically tolerated — pat (don't rub) dry. Compatible with secondary dressings for absorbent coverage if needed.
