Ace® General Chemistry Reagent, Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST)

Testing for aspartate aminotransferase, an enzyme that climbs with liver disease or heart-muscle injury, this two-part Ace® reagent brings substrate and coenzyme together for an accurate AST measurement.

It runs on the Ace Axcel and Ace Alera systems, supporting both hepatic and cardiac assessment where AST is a useful marker. Three 12 mL vials each of substrate and coenzyme cover about 450 tests, keeping the assay ready for routine panels.
