Ten chemistries from one disc — the Piccolo® Basic Metabolic Panel Plus measures calcium, chloride, creatinine, glucose, LDH, magnesium, potassium, sodium, total CO2, and BUN using dry, test-specific reagent beads.

This disc tests heparinized plasma and serum only, with dedicated sample-blank reagents built in to calculate accurate concentrations, including a separate blank for creatinine. A broad metabolic picture from a single point-of-care run.
